Painting the 21 Window Samba

You may recall one of our 21 Window Sambas from an earlier blog post:

(My personal favourite, this 21 window Samba is an awesome base for a project)

Well, we decided to get it rolling recently, and went through the bodywork in preparation for a respray: admitted it’s not OG paintwork, but a colour combination which we thought suited it well, being a dark over light scheme, L575 Nutria and L582 – Arcona weiss, something not often seen on later buses. Perhaps not everyone’s choice, but for us, to run around in, it will be perfect. What do you think? (Click on the image to enlarge).

Moving things around…

Upstairs needed a spring clean, despite it being autumn, so we’ve shifted some of the cars around.

It’s good to have a bit of space, but since these photos were taken, a few more split screen vans have arrived, as you have seen on previous posts. The Ambulance is looking good!

Take care, all at Vintage Vans.
